We are a member-driven organization that brings together colleges, universities, higher education organizations, and companies to collectively improve the quality and reach of digital learning programs. We recognize how important artificial intelligence will be for higher education. In 2023, we released our AI Institutional Policy and Practice Framework based on the work of Cecilia Chan. Our framework outlines sixteen policy areas that we recommend institutions address across three categories—governance, operations, and pedagogy. The WCET AI Policy Center is a database of AI policies from institutions across the nation which we are constantly updating. We hope that you will be able to use these policies to help frame conversations at your campus. If your campus has developed AI policies that are not included in the database, please fill out this form so we can include your policies in our database.
